From Roots to Routes: Sunbelt's Growth

Jaime S Furman P. Eng. , is a graduate of the University of Toronto, Faculty of Chemical Engineering. Jaime followed his dreams of developing his entrepreneurial skills as he co-founded and built Sunbelt Logistics Group. Today, with the support of his son Jason, together since 2009, they have continued to build Sunbelt Logistics Group into the formidable 3PL global logistics company that it is today. Jaime coaches, develops, and mentors his team at Sunbelt, to help each and every member of the Team to become the best that they can. Jaime enjoys sports and working out, traveling and his family is his greatest asset.

Jason is our President and Chief Operating Officer. After completing his Masters in Business Economics, he joined the company in 2009 in the role of Business Development Consultant and began to work closely with new and prospective clients. Over nearly 15 years of working with Sunbelt’s diverse clientele and seeing our clients grow with us in a variety of modes of transportation he has gained a profound perspective on global supply chains. He thrives on working closely with clients and the entire operations team in building unique logistics models to optimize the efficiency of clients supply chains. He is a data driven, analytical and critical thinker and conducts himself with integrity. Outside of the office he enjoys playing tennis and spending time with his family.

Harinder has led our finance department for 8 years and was promoted to CFO in 2021. She has completed CPA CGA, and MBA. She has 15 years of industry experience. She is well versed in GAAP, ASPE, and IFRS. Apart from overseeing company’s financial activities, budgeting & planning, she ensures compliance with financial & licencing regulations; participates in strategic planning, and manages customer onboarding & credits, insurance, IT, and Human Resource.
